Nickel plated substrates (Ni-P) are made through a series of
manufacturing processes such as grinding, polishing, non electrolytic
nickel phosphorous plating, final polishing, and inspections. Each process
is tightly monitored by a state of the art quality control system to provide
one of the most demanding and stringent qualities.
Toyo Kohan - a Marubeni Sunnyvale trading partner - has been shipping
these Ni-P plated disks to computer disk manufacturers around the world,
enabling them to produce quality media for the computer hard drives. Toyo
Kohan and Marubeni have a joint venture disk manufacturing facility (Toyo
memory Technology SDN. BHD in Kulim, Malaysia.)
